About me

I’m just an ordinary guy– I eat food, go to sleep, study, have friends, etc. I just happen to have obsessive-compulsive disorder, or OCD.

I’m an aspiring writer and storyteller, although it’s more of a hobby than anything else.

I live in Texas, although I’m from Alberta. I grew up spelling words “the Canadian way,” such as writing “colour” instead of “color,” “centre” instead of “center,” etc. However, I also love using Texan lingo, such as “y’all,” “ain’t,” etc. These two conflicting writing styles make writing a lot of fun for me, especially when I can write things such as “y’all’d’ve” and it makes perfect grammatical sense.

My favourite books are 1984 by George Orwell and A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking.

I love writing short stories, dialogues, and anecdotes from my life. I also enjoy a bit of political or social discourse. Without debate, life would be boring.

I live by the phrase, “keep on keepin’ on.” After all, what other way is there to live life?

I’m a huge fan of Destiny; I’ve been playing since Year One.

I’m just starting college at Austin Community College, where I’m studying business.
